I am a piano instructor with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree and certifications for all Suzuki piano books. Additionally, I hold a Post-Master's Certificate in Music Theory Pedagogy. I provide high-quality lessons tailored to each student's individual needs and interests. Both in-person and online options available.

I am actively involved in contemporary piano music and released my debut album, "Variations on a Theme by Stefan Wolpe and Other Selected Piano Works," in 2023, gaining recognition on global classical and new music platforms, including WFMT: Music in Chicago. I am a member of New Music Chicago and received a 2022 Steinway Top Teacher Award. I have years of experience performing and teaching piano. I aim to go beyond instrument proficiency and help students delve deeper into the world of piano playing. Let's embrace this journey together. I focus on making the music-making process more manageable, effective, and enjoyable in our busy schedules. I draw inspiration from the Tortoise in the Tortoise and the Hare story, emphasizing a patient and balanced approach for long-term success.
