Yulia Lipmanovich is the Owner Executive Director and Founder of The Art of Piano Playing & Performing Arts Inc. and is actively teaching and performing.
Yulia is recently joined the Chicago Pro Musica Chamber Group and performing with them who are All Members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.. Chicago Pro Musica Group was Awarded: Grammy Award " as "Best New Classical Artist Ensemble"
Lipmanovich is on a Piano Faculty at the Summer Music Festival of the Gulf in Italy at San Marco di Castellabate (Solerno ) since 2013 , held in August and and is a Honorary President of the jury of the "Madame Rosina Lhevinne Piano International Competition " held in Italy at San Marco every two years.
In 2015 was appointed by the Juilliard School of Music in New York to teach Piano in the After School Arts with Juilliard Nord Anglia Performing Arts Program in the British International South Loop School in Chicago
In 2016 Dr.Yulia was in Thailand in the Jury for the Thailand 6th Mozart International Piano Competition held in Bangkok Thailand and gave Master Classes and solo performances
Yulia Lipmanovich has appeared in major concert halls as a soloist, with orchestras and chamber groups throughout Russia, Israel, Europe and in such prestigious venues in the United States such as Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall and Alice Tully Hall in New York. Gave numerous Master Classes among them in Chicago and in Israel , Thailand, Italy. She has taught on the piano faculties of the Boston Conservatory, Boston College, Northeastern University, Daley College, and the Rubin Conservatory of Music in Jerusalem in Israel.. Lipmanovich was studying with her mother, Madame Luba Lipmanovich-Yackobishvili, who was an outstanding pianist, a great teacher, Later with well known Russian pianist Tatiana Nickolayeva in Moscow Tchaickovsky Pre-Conservatory. Dr. Yulia Lipmanovich holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance from the Juilliard School of Music in New York, where she studied with Madame Rosina Lhevinne on a full scholarship. She was a protege student of Madame Rosina Lhevinne who brought her from Israel to Juilliard School. Yulia lived at Madame Rosina Lhevinne’s home and had a daily lessons with the legendary teacher.
Yulia received a Master's Degree from the Rubin Academy of Music of the Tel Aviv University, where she studied on a full scholarship awarded by the University.
Dr. Lipmanovich was awarded her Doctorate in Piano Performance in 1998. from the University of Illinois in Champaign- Urbana Among her teachers were Anthony di Bonaventura, Rudolfo Caporally.
Lipmanovich has won the Piano Competition of the Soviet Composers (Moscow), and the Tenth Annual Young Artists International Competition (New York) where she was a winner from 300 contestants.. In New York she has performed with the Juilliard School Symphony Orchestra Beethoven Piano Concerto No.3, Chopin Piano Concerto No.2 and Chopin Andante Spianato and Grand Polonaise Brilliante. She appeared with solo recitals in England and performed at Music Festivals at Durdington and St. Lewis. and ave numerous performances in London among them All Chopin Program at the Trinity Church and at Saint Martins in the Fields. She was recognized as an outstanding young performer and was named in the National Collegiate Academy Honorary Book as “Collegiate All-American Scholar”. When in Israel, she was a member of the “Trio Bor”, who were members of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and appeared in numerous concerts .She had appeared in Israel in concerts as a soloist with orchestras and in Solo recitals were for an audience Thirty Foreign Ambassadors were present, and performed on Radio and Television.
Yulia Lipmanovich's recent performances in Chicago include the Fazioli Concert-Series (Live Broadcast on WFMT), and performance from the Harold Washington Library Pritzker Auditorium of Solo Recital of “All Russian Program” which is numerous times Broadcasted on Television Station WTTW She performed at the .Gala event of the Fine Arts Building in Curtiss Hall, at the Concert-Series at the Fourth Presbyterian Church Bachman Auditorium,, at the Schubertiade (Fazioli Pianoforte Solon). She has performed in Chicago with orchestras Haydn Piano Concerto in D Major, Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor, and Tchaikovski Piano Concerto No 1.
Yulia was performing in Russia Chopin Piano Concerto No 1 with Kirov Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra with a Chief Conductor Maestro Valery Raevsky.
Lipmanovich gave Master Classes at the Music Academy of Tel Aviv University . Performed with orchestras, chamber groups and gave Solo Recitals in Israel in various concert halls among them were Ramat Gan Theater , Tel Aviv Museum Recanaty Hall Jerusalem Museum, Felicia Blumentha Library in Tel Aviv ,AT Nahta Concert Hall , Jerusalem Music Academy, Tel Aviv University and many other. In a program were "All Schubert Piano Recital" ., “All R Schumann Recital’, “All Chopin Recital”

Yulia will be performing Piano Solo Recitals in 2017 in October 8th 2017 at the Studebaker Theater. in Chicago “ All Schumann Program” Solo Recital on March 16, 2017 at Harold Washington Library at Pritzker Auditorium., March 5th, 2017 Solo Recital at Gordon Community Center , A Chamber Music Concert with the Chicago Pro Musica at the Studebaker Theater in Chicago on April 9th. 2017. etc, She will be teaching Master Classes in Chicago at the Fine Arts Building on November 6. 2016, February 2nd & April 2017 at the Fine Arts Building in Studio 825
