About
I'm a professional, full-time vocal and acting coach in the Chicagoland area, and I coach clients all over the country and world. Many of my clients are professionally working vocalists and actors. I have helped many clients break into the industry, land their first professional gig, or make it into the university program of their choice. My clients have achieved major successes under my mentorship. Some of these successes include:
Most recently, my client George won Best Actor at the Illinois High School Music Theatre Awards and went on to represent Illinois at the 2024 Jimmy Awards on Broadway.
My client Bella and I performed at a Blackhawks game at the United Center.
My client Bailey just booked a big commercial for a major healthcare company.
My client Athena booked a major commercial in L.A.
My clients Alex and George made it to All-State. George was selected as a soloist for All-State Vocal Jazz ensemble.
My client Rogan booked a leading role in two films, back-to-back.
These are just a few of many accomplishments for my clients. Study with me and join the success stories!
Here is some more information about me:
I graduated summa cum laude from North Central College with a Bachelor’s in Vocal Music Education. After graduating, I taught General Music K-12, Drama, and high school math at a private school. After teaching in the classroom for a short bit, I decided to focus my career on coaching actors and vocalists at my private studio instead.
I have served as music director, vocal coach, acting coach, director, and producer for many plays and musicals with various youth, adult, and professional theatre groups around the Chicagoland area. Recently, I served as the Youth Acting and Vocal Coach for Broadway in Chicago and Chicagoland Theatre Fund’s production of Children of Eden at the Cadillac Palace in Chicago which featured big names including Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child, Koryn Hawthorne finalist on The Voice, gospel singer David Phelps, YouTube singing sensation Sam Tsui, and Broadway star Randal Keith.
I started acting in the industry when I was 6 years old and since then, I have appeared in well over 100 productions in the Chicagoland area. I’ve been involved in the industry since I was a child actor. I’ve also taught multiple acting classes and workshops from on-camera technique to improv to monologue work. I continue to hone my craft by actively taking acting classes and vocal lessons myself.
My love for music and theatre, extensive experience on stage and in the audition room, and passion for teaching makes me an excellent coach. I am more than just another music teacher; I am a coach that brings the very best out of my clients, setting them up to excel at whatever level they want to perform.
