I provide everyone, from beginner to the advanced student, with the tools to create simple, elegant meals. My belief is that food should be approachable for all skill levels. I love bold flavors that are the star of a dish without adding too much to confuse the palette. I enjoy taking simple meals and making them something extraordinary.
I have spent more than 20 years in customer service as well as in a support position for a nonprofit agency. These years helped me learn how to listen to people and get to the root of what their needs are. My culinary training allows me to create menus and recipes to meet these needs. I enjoy teaching people that cooking doesn't have to be complicated.
That moment when students realize that they have the ability to create and everything clicks is a powerful one for me. In catering, seeing clients' reactions to tasting my food and the joy that it brings them makes me truly happy.
