About

Adrienne P. graduated from the University of Central Florida in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Music specializing in Vocal Performance. During her studies, she played the role of “Naggia” in Richard Mohaupt’s Double Trouble and won the Central Florida NATS competition. In 2011, Adrienne P. received her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy at Pennsylvania State University where she played the lead role of “Hänsel” in Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hänsel and Gretel, Nero in Claudio Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea, the Mother in Gian-Carlo Menotti’s The Consul, and the Mother in Gian-Carlo Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors. Adrienne P. went on to receive a Professional Performer Certificate at Penn State University, and played the role of Zita in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. Adrienne P. has performed with the Lyric Opera of Chicago in the chorus of Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg. She has most recently performed in the chorus of Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess with the Lyric Opera of Chicago in 2014. I have been teaching voice lessons since 2006, when I began teaching under the direction of Dr. Jeremy Hunt. After 9 years, I have had students from every walk of life, from a 10-year old girl who wants to be in a school musical, to a 20-year old voice minor at Penn State, to a 75-year old woman who wants to get through her performance anxiety to sing in the local chorus. I have taught in various music studios in Orlando, FL and State College, PA, and I currently teach private voice lessons at Highland Park High School in Highland Park, IL. I began taking piano lessons at the age of 6, and have continued to play piano and accompany musicians in recitals and studio performances.
