What is your typical process for working with a new student?
There is conversation to understand the personality of the new student and what kind of learner they are as musicians. Second, an indepth review of all of the music they have ever played, studied, performed, sight-read etc. Next, proceed with hearing the player and discussing their goals. Conclude with setting a plan for lesson time that both agree would work best to meet goals.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Fees are decided determined by length of lesson time. The possibilities range from private/semi-private/group and the very young beginner.
How did you get started teaching?
My personal goal was to be the best teacher I could be. I have been very fortunate to have many fine teachers and work to emulate and honor their training.
What types of students have you worked with?
Classical training, all levels, all ages of abilities and talents.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My students proudly performed for the Robert Redfords. Their important work benefitting Brushwood Nature Center, Riverwoods, Il., was a most memorable, exciting evening.
