I am accomplished classically-trained pianist. I hold a bachelor’s degree in piano pedagogy, music theory, and music history from the Lyatoshinsky State Music College and master’s degree in piano and music theory from the State University of Art (Ukraine).
I have over 30 years of experience teaching students at all levels and ages, and has taught internationally in Europe, Canada and the United States. I am a member of the Chicago Music Teachers Association, Illinois State Music Teachers Association, and Music Teachers National Association. My teaching style emphasizes proper technique and musical development through positive reinforcement. I believe that music can be used as a tool for betteting oneself and leaving a fuller life.• All of her students learn technique, musicianship, music theory, and sight reading.• Lessons for younger students focus on learning to enjoy music, along with studying proper technique/discipline (finger placement, relaxation, posture, etc.).• Lessons for beginners who are older can be set up to accommodate the schedule of a working adult, and include specialized practice plans and exercises.
Presently I teach privately at her home studio in Naperville, IL.
