About
I have been teaching over 42 years as a senior teacher for all levels in violin and viola. I hold a master degree in violin performance from Roosevelt University in Chicago. I worked at the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Orchestra for 10 years as an Assistant Concert-master. I also worked the Civic Orchestra of Chicago (the training Orchestra of Chicago Symphony) for several years under the direction of Daniel Barenboim ( former music director). In Chicago I worked at the People's Music School and De Paul University for many years as violin and viola instructor. Currently, I am the founder and Director of Southport Performing Arts Conservatory in music, dance and drama in Chicago known as SPACE and Artistic and I also worked as an Administrative and Artistic Director of the Music Department of School of Performing Arts.
My passion is to teach children. They are so unique, beautiful and creative. I would love to explore and form children's artistic potentials. My goal is to make "Art" as a part of child’s life.
