My school heart of singing is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday's.
We have been in business for over 15 years, Our teachers have over 20 years of teaching experience and have won national competitions and performed around the world! Heart of Singing students have also won awards, roles in professional theater, and opera.
Our school offers lessons in singing, piano, and ukulele. It all happens from the comfort of your home, online through zoom!
We love helping each student build confidence through the arts. It is exciting to see them grow and find a love for their instrument. Watching each student get better every week inspires us to continue spreading on our passion and knowledge to the next generation. Our teachers have Masters degrees in Voice Performance and Vocal Pedagogy, which is the study of teaching how to sing. They have sung around the U.S. and throughout Europe. Including, Brazil, Italy, England, Scotland, Wales and Canada. Nicole Recently became a national finalist for New York Lyric Opera Theater!

How did you get started teaching?
I obtained a masters degree in music and vocal pedagogy. As I was getting working on my masters degree in music, I worked at different music schools in and around the Chicago area. After college, I opened up my own school called heart of singing.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It's important to find a teacher who is experienced in all styles, languages and still performs. It is very important that your teacher has a degree in music and is performing and putting into practice what they are teaching you.
