About
I am an experienced teacher who is dedicated to helping all interested students reach their maximum potential in musical expressions. Each student receives individual attention within the studio structure. We have 2 large formal recitals a year as well as a community holiday concert and a Solofestival.
I enjoy meeting people from all different cultures. Our common bond is that we are all striving for excellence through music.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet with them to find out what their goals are and then structure a program to meet their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching over 30 years. I am primarily a Suzuki Method instructor but also have trained in the Paul Rolland and Mark O'Connor Methods.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Currently as of 11/1/2016 rates are based on a $60/hour schedule. Lesson fees are paid monthly.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always loved teaching and initially started working with special needs children when I was younger. My interest in the Suzuki method grew from that experience.
What types of students have you worked with?
All people ages 3 - 80 - but the majority of my students are between the ages of 5 - 18.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure to take a sample lesson - any good teacher will offer one. Reputable teachers want to make sure that there is a good fit between teachers and the student's expectations.
