No two students are alike. For that reason I strive to match my teaching style and materials to each student. This approach typically fosters ongoing and interest more effectively than a "one size fits all" approach.

Piano lessons offer an opportunity for one-to-one, positively-focused attention from an adult. By pointing out successes throughout the lesson and celebrating progress over time, I aim to build self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment regardless of skill level. Few pianists are destined for Orchestra Hall. Playing for personal enjoyment, however, is attainable by all!
