I have over 40 years experience teaching in groups and privately, and have two performance degrees in viola and violin. I have taught all ages, and try to teach personally with the students needs in mind.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I talk personally with the student and parent and observe. I like to take the student right where they are and give them a little goal for the next lesson. I like to see the positives as well as where I can help them get to where they want to be in their playing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As answered before, I have two degrees, one from Wheaton College and one from Indiana University Bloomington School of Music in performance and pedagogy. I have conducted string orchestras and started school string programs.

At present, 20.00 per lesson payable at the beginning of each month.
