About

I have been teaching ServSafe and cooking classes for the last two years. I have been in the food and beverage career for the last ten years and I'm currently the Food and Beverage Director/Executive Chef at the Holland Civic Center Place in South-West Michigan.

I have a passion for hot and cold smoking, sushi, Japanese cuisine, Texas style barbeque and Kansas City style barbeque

I enjoy the process of cooking and creating new dishes for my guests. I love educating my staff on new cusines.

I signed up for a smoking class. Chef Jerramiah did a really good job at telling us about what woods to use for what foods and pros and cons of different smokers. I learned a lot.

I wanted to learn about Sushi with my husband and Chef Jerramiah was amazing! He knew a lot about the food from the rice to the fish. My husband and I really enjoyed the class.

Chef did a great class on smoking brisket and cold smoking cheeses last year for me and my partner. Really liked how he talked about different woods to use and how knowledgeable he was on the topic. Looking forward to another class with him this year.

He did a soup class for myself and a few co-workers. I really enjoyed how detailed and organized he was with his recipes and the clear steps from start to finish of making soups from scratch.

    Frequently asked questions

I like to start with getting to know new students and what knowledge they currently have, so we can move forward more quickly with their education of food. I'm always willing to travelto them and teach them about different cuisines in their own kitchens.

I have an associate of arts degree in business management and an associates of science degree in culinary arts/management. I am a certified ServSafe instructor and proctor. I have been in the food and beverage business for fifteen plus years.

I enjoy teaching food to people. I came across a company that offered cooking classes to their employees and thought that was awsome, so I jumped on board.

I've worked with working adults just wanting to learn more about food. I've also worked with both my front-of-house and back-of-house employees on cooking styles and techniques.
