I have made it my personal mission to innovate and put creativity, exploration, humor, and fun into my students’ piano lessons.

Most kids view piano lessons as “just more homework,” and another task to “check off the list” along with extracurricular activities, homework, MORE homework, chores, and family obligations.
Why!?!? What went wrong?!?!
Sadly, most piano classes focus on FACTS and very little on creativity, music appreciation, or enjoyment.
It’s amazing what can be accomplished when you tap into a child’s natural curiosity and sense of exploration. By encouraging children to have fun and to relax at the piano, I remove the common roadblocks that prevent them from reaching their full potential.
I began playing at four years old and studied under several teachers in the Indianapolis area. I chose to study music at the collegiate level at a private school in Florida where I studied piano from 2000- 2004. I received my bachelor of science in music education from Pensacola Christian College in 2004.
While at Pensacola Christian College, I had the privilege and opportunity to study under Daniel Nagy and Daisy de Luca Jaffe who are both renowned concert pianists. They have toured the world playing at venues throughout Europe, North America, and South America.
