* Masters’ Degree in Flute Performance, CA K-12 Teaching Credential, and trained in Suzuki Flute and piano Methods. I teach my own hybrid method of Suzuki and Traditional Methods, designed individually for each student depending on what they need and what their goals are; I am experienced will all ages 5-adult; I’ve taught beginning and intermediate band for 20 years in private and public schools;

* I’m still an active performer on the flute in various performing groups and as a soloist;l - I LOVE playing and I want to share my knowledge and excitement about music with you!

* I LOVE teaching kids who are just learning, have had a bad previous experience with a teacher - those struggling, and those that want a challenge.

* In the 35+ years I have taught privately, it was not unusual for me to teach a child from K-12th grade, and their siblings! My flute students are usually first chair players in their high school band programs and recipients of scholarships and other awards.
