About
Heartland Chamber Music, founded in 2001, is based in Kansas City, Missouri, and Mission, KS, and its surrounding areas. The institution is nationally recognized for inspiring young musicians through the study and performance of chamber music, with its faculty comprising nationally recognized artists-as-mentors. Over the past two decades, Heartland Chamber Music has served over 2700 students, presented more than 100 concerts, and expanded its programs to accommodate a wide range of skill levels. Their two-week summer program, featuring resident artists like the Miami String Quartet and Ivan Chan, has made Kansas City a summer destination for chamber music.
