I love working with my students and helping them learn new skills to advance their understanding and passion for music. My favorite part of my job is see my students every week excited to show me how much they have improved! The student, parents and I work very hard to have a great class while learning more about the violin and classical music.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first week we get to know each other! We have indepth conversations with the student and parent just getting a feel for experience, excitement and learning styles. I then talk to the parents about goals and supplies needed to start learning the vioin. I usually start off with an cardboard violin cut out for my younger students in order for them to get a feeling for how to respect and hold the violin with care. For older students, starting off with our first violin is the first step!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I, myself, have been playing the vioin for just over 15 years. I started at a very young age, learned for mutiple amazing violin teachers and even played in extrodinary orchestras and music groups. My personal experience is where I have gotten the most training over the past year and a half, I have worked with multiple students continuously, at first inperson and now over Zoom.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge 35 dollars for a 30 minuite lesson and 55 dollars for a hour lesson. Depending on the age, I will recommend how much time the lesson should be, but that can continue to change as the student gets more advance or other circumstances.
