About
I offer Simply Music piano lessons to children and adults ages 6-106 at my home in Meredith, NH; I also offer online lessons through Zoom. I moved to Meredith in June of 2019 from Leverett, MA, where I taught Simply Music Piano starting in 2015. I am excited to be living and working in this beautiful part of New England.
Simply Music is a revolutionary playing-based piano method from Australia that has students playing great sounding music in different styles with two hands from their very first lessons.
For younger children, I offer a wonderful early childhood music program called Music Rhapsody.

I love teaching Simply Music piano because students experiece success so quickly! Learning to play great sounding music on the piano with both hands brings such joy. My students gain music as a companion in their lives; they build a relationship with music that can be with them life long. I love being part of this journey with them.
I love teaching the Music Rhapsody early childhood music program too; it is a wonderful preparation for any kind of formal music lessons. I love having something to offer to very young children that nurtures their love of music, and sets them up for later success in playing any instrument.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I offer a free introductory session to every prospective student in which I describe what's unique about the Simply Music method, demonstrate some songs, and show how it works. If students decide to enroll, I ask that they try lessons for at least a month. If they like the results, they can enroll for the next month.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played piano most of my life, I have a Master's Degree in Music, and I have taught music for more that 20 years as an elementary school music teacher, early childhood music teacher, and piano instructor.
