About
I am a professional violinist from Brazil, with experience as orchestra musician and also as a violin teacher. I've finished my Master's degree in Violin Performance at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and did my undergrad studies at Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil.
I believe that each person is different and has their own ways of learning, so I always try to develop specific approaches and goals for each of my students. I want to pass on all the love I feel about music, and show them all their abilities to learn.
I can also teach in Portuguese if you prefer! :)
I love being able to make music, and being close to the musical universe all the time. I really enjoy teaching my students' favorite songs, and follow the development of each one.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start talking about their background. Whether they had previous musical knowledge or not. What are their goals and which musical styles they want to play. Then we start talking about the practice of the violin, details about the lessons, maintenance of the instrument. And finally, the best part, they start to learn how to play!

What types of students have you worked with?
I've taught very young children (starting with 5 years-old) until adults with age of 70. I also have experience teaching from beginners to advanced students.
