Lynn has a wonderful disposition, is always patient and upbeat. She sources new material for her students so that they can expand their repertoire

I have been taking lessons with Lynn for four years and have been happy with my improvement. I love that Lynn is not only an experienced violin instructor, but that she also invests time in learning about new styles that I'm interested in! I also enjoy that she spends time planning many different types of community performances throughout the year. I would wholeheartedly recommend her lessons for any age of student!

  • Jon Machta

Lynn is a superb teacher. I am an adult beginner and she gently and patiently helped me to improve my skills and musicality with a combination of folk music, classical music and technical exercises. She is very experienced and knew exactly how to guide me to master new skills such as correct bow hold and motion, vibrato and higher positions. I definitely recommend her.

Lynn extensive classical training and performing experience allows her to draw upon solutions to every problem that I bring up. She has a large library of teaching aids that she can bring out at a moments notice. She also goes at a pace that I can handle. So the learning process feels both comfortably paced and very well informed. After 5 years, I feel that I have grown considerably and plan to continue.
