The Youth Ensemble of New England, founded in 1968, is based in Lancaster, Massachusetts, and its surrounding areas. The ensemble consists of around 35 young musicians aged 10 to 20. They rehearse at the Thayer Performing Arts Center and play over 30 concerts annually at various local venues. The ensemble is known for its lively and diverse performances, including classical orchestral music from different eras and light pieces from musicals. They also have a commendable history of charity performances and have toured worldwide in over 40 countries. Their concerts are loved by audiences of all ages.
