Personal Attention! I CARE! If we need to fit in an extra lesson before an event, no problem, no charge. I want my students to feel comfortable with their pieces and of coruse perform well. I include music history and theory as appropriate so the student understands why the piece "sounds" the way it does.
Getting beginners off to a strong start is key. We check and double check so bad habits do not grow. Asking students what THEY WOULD LIKE to learn. What is a favorite piece. If in print, I will get the music. Having students "make up" tunes on their own. Including FUN technical exercises to get the fingers moving.
