My goal as an educator is to assist my students with setting meaningful goals and creating an action-plan to achieve them.

I have a bachelors degree in percussion performance from the University of Michigan, and I am well-versed in the art of playing drum set, marimba, snare drum, xylophone, timpani, and accessory percussion. My pedagogical approach focuses on cross-training these different disciplines in an effort improve one's ability as efficently as possible. I cultivate the crossover between each of these groups systematically.

Each of my students will travel a different path as they improve as a drummer/percussionist, based upon their desired goals and their present ability. I've played for percussion for 12 years with orhcestras, bands, jazz ensembles, percussion ensembles marching bands, and even samba bands; I possess I wide array of performance experience across many backgrounds.

I teach students of all ages, and I have the flexibility to travel to you and your instruments for instruction.
