Nat Needle Piano Lessons

My lessons are relaxed, fun, and individually paced. Somehow, they also manage to be disciplined and focused. I work equally well with kids, teens, and adults. Depending on your goals, I can add elements to the lessons (for example, more chord-building and theory, or playing by ear) that are not in the method book. I find that in a weekly half-hour lesson, we cover just the right amount of material for you to practice during the week.

I enjoy meeting each students as a unique individual with particular strengths and challenges. For some, the biggest challenge is just sitting down to practice during the week! Finding the right pace for each student as they learn to read music and connect the mind to the fingers of both hands at once always involves entering into a profound mystery! I am a teacher by training, so your overall development is as exciting to me as your growing musical skill.
