About
My teaching philosophy centers around celebrating the uniqueness of each learner. I firmly believe that through structured exploratory play, the mastery of dance concepts becomes an organic part of the learning journey. It's the sheer joy of moving and the thrill of problem-solving that ignite the flames of artistry within my students. I'm passionate about helping them discover their movement potential, enabling them to harness their kinesthetic experiences more effectively. As we approach the stage or embark on creating more structured choreography, my aim is to empower dancers to identify and incorporate qualities that resonate deeply within the dance form.
I specialize in enriching movement experiences for a diverse range of individuals, spanning from toddlers as young as 18 months to adults of all ages. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Dance Performance & Choreography as well as a PreK-12 certification in Dance Education from Towson University, and I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Dance Education from TU. My passion for dance education has led me to develop innovative dance programs and craft curriculum for Baltimore County Public Schools. Additionally, I share my expertise as an instructor at TU Community Dance and Potomac Glen Day School while also dedicating my time to The Movement Endeavor.
