Bmore Strings is a violin and viola studio directed by Liz Wisniewski that offers personalized instruction in violin, viola, music theory, and music composition. All lessons are individualized and cater to each student’s own musical needs and interests.
Liz teaches lessons from her studio in Hampden, a charming neighborhood in Baltimore, Maryland. Her studio serves the Hampden, Wyman Park, Roland Park, Charles Village, Mount Vernon, Fells Point, Canton, Patterson Park, and surrounding Baltimore City and Baltimore County neighborhoods.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All lessons are individualized and cater to each student's own musical needs and interests.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a B.M. in Viola Performance and Film Music from Berklee College of Music, and a M.A. in Music Composition from Mills College.
I have received teacher training and registration with the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA), and I am also a member of the American Strings Teachers Association (ASTA), and the American Composers Forum (ACF).

$35 per 30 minute individual lesson
$60 per 60 minute individual lesson
$25 per 30 minute group lesson

Payments & Billing:
Bmore Strings accepts most forms of payment including cash, checks, and credit/debit cards, and PayPal. Monthly invoices will be emailed to the account holder(s) at the start of each month.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching violin and viola lessons to students while in graduate school at Mills College. I found that I really enjoyed it!
