Hi, I’m Octavio Macías, and I’m excited to be working with you on violin and viola. I hold a master’s degree from the Peabody Institute and bring over 15 years of teaching experience across the USA, Mexico, China, Japan, and Italy. In addition to teaching, I have an extensive background in chamber music and symphonic performance, which I incorporate into lessons to help students develop ensemble skills, musicality, and stage presence. My approach is supportive, structured, and tailored to your goals—whether you're just beginning or preparing for auditions. I’m here to help you grow with confidence, enjoy the journey, and make great music along the way!
