Studio Benichou
About
I teach using the Suzuki philosophy. This includes using the Suzuki repertoire, starting students as young as 3, and approaching each student individaully with his/her own set of skills and challenges. I take new and transfer students of any age.
My favorite part of teaching is seeing the growth and transformation every child is capable of. I'm especially delighted when students accomplish things they didn't know they could do.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All new students come for one free, short lesson and comversation to see what the student already knows about music and to answer questions. After that, I focus on basic skills, gradually building strength, focus, technique and repertoire according to the student's individual pace.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Music degree in Performance and Pedagogy. I also have completed some teacher training in the Suzuki Method.
