I totally enjoy teaching and guiding martial arts students on their individual journey in achieving their maximum potential through the practice of martial arts. By teaching traditional martial arts, my service to my students is to provide a totally fulfilling experience in physical and mental exercise.
I have trained hundreds of students in the last 30+ years and I get an unparalleled job satisfaction of helping students achieve their goals through my teachings.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Basic physical training for about 4-6 weeks
Calisthenics, basic techniques including stances, punches, blocks, kicks, and combinations.
Introduction of forms and basic self defense.
Advancing from basic to intermediate to advanced techniques spread out from start to about 2-3 years.
Introduction of complex techniques, sparring, breaking, and weapons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
35 years of martial arts experience with Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Shotokan Karate, and other martial arts.
Certified by The Korea Tae Kwon Do Moo Duk Kwan, Richard Chun TKD HQs, and Jay's school of TKD.
Extensive competition and past national and state champion medals and trophies.
