Competative Pricing. No contracts. Family classes. Fun family atmosphere. We are a self defense school. Our approach uses martial discipline to develop students into leaders who can manage life stressors and respond well to them. We do not teach or promote tournament competition, although we do offer additional training to students who choose to compete.
We teach all classes in English. While we use we the original martial arts terminology for the advanced students, we simplify complicated language to provide clarity and to reduce confusion for younger belts. However, when there is no English term for a particular movement, our instructors take the opportunity to introduce new vocabulary to students and to teach them the cultural origins of martial arts .
We value life-long learning and model this for our students. Our instructors continue to develop our Academy as we train with other seasoned Masters from around the world such as Professor Leon Jay from the United Kingdom.
