I actually teach my students How to Practice efficiently!!! Many professional musicians were never taught this.

I am passionate about teaching. I love it!!!

I am so in tune with the student that their experience becomes a part of me. their progress and struggles inspire me.

And now i am TEACHING ONLINE!!!

I constantly study to improve my skills. I am working at becoming certified in teaching Theory - the language of all music.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

In "piano world" we use our entire bodies. I show the student the "power" of the voice in training our "un-tutored hands. I emphasize the drama of the music. That's what we respond to. I remind them of the patience needed with a small child, and tell them to be patient with their hands and themselves.

I make the theory a part of each piece and experience. It becomes more meaningful then.
