I started teaching for over 12 years ago and fell in love with music in a whole new way. Teaching is an art in itself, and seeing students achieve their goals is the biggest reward.

I have had students of all ages, from 4 years old to 71!

I fell in love with music when I was very young, and started violin lessons when I was eight. Through my school years I have picked up a majority of the stringed instruments and even some woodwinds. I have had the opportunity to perform in a variety of bands and orchestras including jazz, classical, rockabilly, and live musical theater productions.

I currently teach private lessons and classes, but I have also worked with local youth orchestras like Livonia Youth Symphony. I taught mostly in Downtown Ann Arbor for 7 years, and currently loving getting to know my Dearborn community.

In my personal life, I have a very supportive husband and three wonderful children. I’m a “not-so-dirty” hippie and we enjoy everything to do with the outdoors; camping, kayaking, gardening, the list goes on! I also keep myself busy with a number of crafts and books.
