
Shaoming Yang
About
Shaoming Yang is a Chinese pianist who is pursuing her doctorate degree in Piano Performance at Michigan State University. Studying under Professor Deborah Moriarty, she is appointed as the teaching assistant of group piano classes at MSU. She earned her previous degrees from University of Cincinnati and Oberlin Conservatory of Music.
As an active performer, she was invited to music festivals which included Master Classes at the Centro Studi Carlo Della Giacoma; Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival, International Keyboard Institution Festival. And she gave recitals in New York, Tampa, Grand Rapids, East Lansing, Cincinnati, Oberlin, China-ZhengZhou, China-Shenyang and etc.
As an organizer, she worked as program assistant at Master Classes at the Centro Studi Carlo Della Giacoma(Encore Music Festival) in Italy and ‘Celebrating the Spactrum’ music festival in Michigan.
