Elise Endres

Hello and welcome! My name is Elise Endres. I am a Grand Valley State University alumn who graduated with a BA in Vocal Performance (Honors) and a minor in Theatre. I am recently back from a professional performance contract touring Italy, and am ready to grow my vocal studio! I am a vocalist who is not limited to any one style. I am classically trained, have been in numerous musicals, and performed on many stages. My experiences include leading roles as Figaro in Pinocchio (2023), The Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland (2023), Prossy in A Minister’s Wife, Woman 2 in Songs for a New World (2021), Eileen in Wonderful Town (2019), Rosie in Bye, Bye, Birdie (2018) and Queenie in Honk! (2016). As well as supporting roles in RENT (waiter, 2022) Working, and Beauty and the Beast. Growing up, I performed in music festivals and concerts accompanying myself on piano singing anything from 50’s doo whop, 70s disco, 80s rock and jazz. In college I worked incredibly hard on my musical style and vocal abilities. I also worked to increase my acting techniques as to carry into all of the genres and become an overall better artist.

I have been studying voice privately for ten years, and am confident in my abilities to help you work on your craft! Whether it be prepping for an audition or festival, working casually on your favorite pop songs for an open mic night, receiving acting coaching on a difficult piece/role, or jumping into the classical world, I would be happy to begin lessons with you. I am Grand Rapids based and will mostly be doing online, but if you are locally based I am happy to work things out.
