I have a special love for music and teaching! I've been teaching all age groups classical and contemporary piano for over 35 years! I enter my students in the National Federation Festival and the National Guild exams each year, and I've helped many students move from beginners to the "Guild High School Diploma." I include group studio classes as part of my private lesson curriculum, and I have year-end recitals! I have my credentials with the University of Toronto Conservatory (A.R.C.T.) in Piano Pedagogy.

I took weekly private piano lessons from the time I was 7 years old until I graduated from college with a music minor at the age of 22. Karen was my High School Piano teacher and is by far the best piano teacher I have ever taken lessons from.
Karen teaches incorporating all the senses in learning and memorizing music. She uses group lessons to help students share their music and practice performing in front of a small friendly group prior to recitals or competitions. She offers her students a wide range of music and different composers styles.
I have been teaching private piano lessons for the past 4 years. I learned to love playing the piano in my High School Piano lessons with Karen. My decision to pursue music education in college and now as a career is directly due to Karens piano lessons. If you can book a place in her schedule (she is always in high demand) Do It. You would be very fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from such an outstanding teacher.
