I love seeing the eyes light up on a student's face once they finally learn a new so for grasp a difficult concept. I love guiding them to their passion and dreams and encouraging them to grow not only in music but in who they are as a person. Music creates character. It gives a person a place to go when they are lonely, happy, sad or upset. It allows a marvelous escape into the compositions of famous composers and even allow them to create their own compositions. Music is so we can pray without words.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always begin by asking what their goals are. Some want to be competitive and some just want to learn favorite songs or hymns. They all start off with basic position and technique work. I teach them how to practice effectively and also to always enjoy what they are doing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at the Cleveland Institure of Music as well as the Cincinnati Conservatory of music. I have appeared as a guest soloist with several symphonies across the nation, ad well ad having performed all over the world. I play im symphony orchestras across the state as well. I have also appeared in 3 movies and have done backup violin for country artists.
my students have done everything from getting college scholarships and performing at Carnegie Hall to just having fun with their instrument for themselves.
