By far, I enjoy each person that contacts me and comes to our classes. Watching their faces light up and seeing them move in a way that I know they are going to feel so much better by the end of class keeps me motivated to continue to give my all. I love choreographing fun, simple, yet effective routines every week to maintain the expectancy of something fresh.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Group fitness instructor yet I motivate and monitor each student! Every new student fills out a disclaimer/waiver and tell me what their expectations are of me as their instructor. My goal is to exceed their expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing choreography for over two decades. Alumni of Cass Tech Dance Workshop. I have been a licensed Zumba Fitness instructor since 2010. I was the state of Michigan Bokwa Education Specialist Trainer in 2013.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $10 per class per person. I can offer special choreography classes and one-on-one fitness trainings that can accommodate most budgets.
How did you get started teaching?
I started as a small child with no formal dance training and would mimic professional dancers that I watched on television. Eventually I started auditioning for and placing in talent shows. When I entered high school I was a choreographer for dance workshop and All City Dance. My love for dance never waned.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students of all shapes, sizes, ages, ethnicities, and dance levels. I even have a student who attends weekly that is deaf.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I view each class I teach as a fond and exciting event. My students are amazing and support all my events outside of class. Each year I choreograph two dance routines for Michigan's Arts Beats and Eats having a team of 10 instructors to perform with me. I was also priviliged to choreograph and perform for the Pistons halftime show.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for an instructor who is competent, enthusiastic, skilled, compassionate and patient. One who can and will cue effectively.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
A student should think about how consistent they will be in attending classes, if they will put forth the necessary effort to learn the steps, and if they are not able to master a particular step or movement that they will inform their instructor. The student should be able to tell immediately if they are a good fit for both the program and the instructor.
