About
Games
One of the most natural ways for kids to learn is through playing games. I use games in almost every lesson so that kids can interact with musical concepts in several different ways.
Group Lessons
Students hear a range of music styles, enjoy trying out games in a group, and practice performing their recital pieces and songs in front of friendly peers. 60 minute Group Lessons are held 4-6x per year in place of regular weekly lessons.
Recitals
Creating Music is a gift meant to be shared. Live performances give students the chance to perform for friends and family. Often recitals inspire students to try new songs and musical styles.
Incentives
Goals help the students to focus and progress their skills and abilities. Studio wide incentives encourage the students and highlights their accomplishments.
Practice Tools
Occasionally students are given practice tools to take home with them and try practicing a different way. Multiple practice approaches enables the student as they gain multiple ways to approach problem solving for themselves.
I teach in Shelby Township, MI and Rochester, MI since 2014.
