I focus on training students through natural movements that they use every single day. Better the action you use thousands of times a day than what you can only practice for an hour or two a day.
I also focus on weapons first since in terms of self protection and the application behind many "traditional" karate elements it is much clearer with something in your hands.
A complete martial practitioner uses weapons, empty hand, and grappling.
Helping individuals achieve their "why". This could be to protect themselves, become physically fit, or prepare for sports competition.
