Hi! I’m Maggie, a violinist with over 17 years of playing experience and 4 years of experience teaching students from elementary to high school. I’m currently studying violin at Lawrence University, and I absolutely love helping students grow—not just as musicians, but as confident, expressive performers.
Lessons with me are supportive, challenging, and tailored to you. I focus on strong technique and healthy posture, but I also love diving into phrasing, musicality, and finding your unique sound. We’ll work through essential repertoire while also exploring music by women and underrepresented composers to keep things fresh and inspiring.
My students have earned top spots in youth and high school orchestras—and more importantly, they’ve grown to love performing. Whether you’re a beginner or preparing for auditions, I’ll meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go. Let’s make music fun, meaningful, and something you’re proud of.
