New Beginnings Tennis Lessons
About
Who we are & why we are different:
New Beginnings is a tennis focused business that goes above and beyond learning the fundamentals of the tennis court. We strive to bring a welcoming atmosphere for each person who trains with us. We want to build relationships with each person and provide a place they can feel at home. We stand out from other Tennis businesses by bringing the Truth of God’s Word in our everyday lessons. Each person will learn the basics and core importance’s of tennis; as well as learning about what Jesus Christ has done for us. They will leave this course with a better understanding of Tennis, of who they are to God, and what Christ has done for them.
Meet the Staff:
The people associated with New Beginnings have played tennis for 13+ years. They have been trainned by others and have knowledge of the game and how to improve each persons skills in the game. Weston and Dexter are both college aged students who attend Bethany’s Global University in Bloomington, MN. They are double majoring in Intercultural Studies and Biblical Theology and have a burning passions to play and teach tennis to those who are new to the game. We are both passionate about tennis as well as happy to meet new people.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start off with getting to know the students. Build a foundation for friendship to grow. Then we go over the basics of tennis (i.e holding the tennis racquet, serving, hitting, rules and how tennis works). Then, once those basics are set, we begin teaching techniques and forms. All the mean while, we are making a relationship with each student through conversation. We also make ourselves available and open for them to ask us questions about Christianity and who we are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
13 years of playing tennis. Played for our high school teams as well as trained with outside help. I have been a personal trainer for a year focusing on amateur tennis and enhancing techniques and forms.
