About
I am no longer accepting new students.
My Eagan studio is for all ages, beginner through early advanced. Students learn to read music and improvise. They learn how to play rhythmically with a steady beat. They learn proper form and technique for beautiful tone, flexible fingers and ease of playing in order to make beautiful music that touches the heart. Students perform in studio recitals, contest and festival because performing is the only way to share our music with others! Through performance, students learn artistry and poise.
I am a member of MMTA and Burnsville Area Music Teacher's Association, and have been teaching piano for 25 years. I have a BA in Music Education and a Certificate in Piano Pedagogy from UST.
I love working with students, helping them to shine their best! I like working together to solve problems in the music, whether it is learning to read notes or learning a new fingering, it's fun to see students make progress and finally gain success. Most of all, I love to hear students play beautifully, with artistry and gracefulness.
