I was looking for a way for my daughter to continue playing flute during distance learning this year. Scott provided this opportunity. My daughter has had nothing but good things to say about her lessons with Scott. He is a patient and encouraging teacher. I dont know if flute is his primary instrument, but he has kept her enjoying her flute and practicing new music. There have been a few scheduling mix-ups and technical difficulties we worked through, but no big deal. Overall I am pleased with how these virtual lessons have been going and am glad I hired Scott.

Ive always wanted to play again and Scott showed me how simple and fun it was to draw on my passed experience and start enjoying it once more!

Drum Lessons

We have been working with Scott for several years. My oldest son started lessons in 3rd grade on the drum set as well as snare to prepare him for taking percussion in school and to see if he enjoyed playing. Going into middle school now, we are still at it! My younger son recently started piano with Scott as well.

Above all, Scott is patient and encouraging. He is experienced in working with (sometimes restless/uncooperative) kids and always tries to find the right balance of success and challenge to keep them motivated. He is also flexible and understanding of our familys often crazy schedule.

Piano Lessons (for children or teenagers)

My two daughters have been working with Scott for almost 3 years. Scott is extremely patient with the girls and is always up for challenging them to something new. The fact that he comes to our home is wonderful since we have two other children and running around for piano lessons just wasnt in the cards for us. We appreciate Scotts flexibility as well since sometimes well have to switch up days/times to fit our schedule. Occasionally he misses our lessons due to illness or other circumstances but always gives us a heads up beforehand. We are grateful for Scotts knowledge of music and how he has helped our girls progress on the piano!
