Jeremy R. says, "I am very impressed with the well-rounded instruction Peter gives in his studio. During the years my son studied with him, they worked on composition, drum set technique, various styles, snare solo technique, improvisation, audition preparation and the essence of percussive sounds. My son's studies with Peter culminated in earning a spot in the All-State Orchestra his junior year and as the All-State jazz drummer his senior year of high school. Peter's teaching and coaching prepared my son for wonderful experiences as a versatile percussionist. Rob has been a great fit for my boys ages 12 and 9. He very quickly determined their levels and helped them to feel proud of where they are and where they're going as individuals. He's a great teacher!

“I can't imagine how much smaller my son's world would be if we had not met Peter O'Gorman. Peter took a shy, introverted boy and taught him poise and self-confidence in just a few years. My son, Collin, learned not just how to drum, but how to cooperate, how to give and take, and how to enjoy music . After years of giving Collin years of drumming lessons, Peter set my son up with a jazz drumming professor and a percussion ensemble at college. Peter continues to reach out to my son and to work with him when school is out. Thank you, Peter, more than I can say, for changing Collin's world.”

Our high-energy twin boys started with Joe when they were 8 years old. We were looking for a nontraditional guitar teacher, someone who would keep music exciting and go with the learning styles of our kids. That is EXACTLY what we got! Joe has followed their interests and even helped them learn the basics to songs they hear on the radio. They have gained confidence and skill faster than we could have ever imagined. He connects with the boys well and explains things in ways they can understand. They are learning drums, guitar, and explore the synthesizer too. They are learning song writing and to analyze music. He also does jam sessions with them where they can let go and be creative. We are so happy to have found Joe!

My daughter really enjoyed her first lesson with Matt. Previous instructors did not take the time to ask about her interests, goals, and music preferences. She really appreciated that Matt took the time to teach "with" her instead of teaching "at" her.
