Olivia Quintanilla's Music Lessons

I am a twin-cities based cellist and private lessons teacher. I have been teaching in Minneapolis for 10+ years at City of Lakes Waldorf and 6+ at Music Lab Minneapolis. I recently moved to Stillwater and now have a brand new studio in Stillwater on Main St.

Originally from Milwaukee, my upbringing was heavily classical, playing in youth symphonies since I was 8 years old and continuous chamber work since I was 13. I have bachelors of music in cello performance from Lawrence University (Appleton, WI). I am also a cello instructor with GTCYS Harmony program since 2019.

I offer private music lessons on cello and violin for beginners to advanced students, including beginner adults. I also provide lessons that focus on bluegrass and fiddle styles on violin and cello, as well as chord reading, music theory and ear training lessons in a range of genres and styles. BASS PLAYERS! Are you a seasoned bassist who wants additional instruction using a bow? I can help! I have taught bow technique to bass players who originally learned on electric and are now expanding to upright and bowing due to the needs of their band. I can provide a small package of lessons specifically for bow technique for bass players.
