Darla's Piano Place

I taught piano lessons out of my home in Illinois for 18 years. Now, I'm back in my home state and want to continue! Once a child has been in kindergarten 2 weeks, I warmly welcome them as a student. By then they have the dexterity & focus necessary for lessons. There's no limit on age after that!

First & foremost I love God & love to teach!!!

I enjoy explaining concepts in various ways until I see it click on a student's face.

I'm patient, kind, trustworthy ... and FULL of fun & excitement! My goal is to make each student laugh ... or at least smile at each lesson!

I use Faber Curriculum, but if you've started with something else, I'm willing to work with it.

I'm retired, so will have limited openings and only will teach daytime lessons.
