Offering instruction in Voice/Piano
Notable Training: Leo has been a Voice Mentor at Aquilla Elementary Theater Program under the training of Rachel Haen, Director of Aquila Elementary Theater Program. He attended St. Louis Park High School.
Professional Opus: Leo has performed professionally with the Tosca Professional Opera, Mill City Ruins as well as other performance venues in Minneapolis. Additionally, he performed “Oliver” Broadway Reimagined and the National Anthem with the Rochester Symphony.
Leo also performed the National Anthem at WCCO Pulling Together Event, as well as at synagogues throughout the Twin Cities, including Beth El and Temple Israel where he sang “The Prayer” with Marie Jette, a midwestern opera star. He has made appearances at the RLC Theater Company, St. Louis Park High School, and the Youth Performance Program JCC.
Leo was the recipient of the Bailey Musicianship Award, the William O. White Talent Hunt Competition (3rd place), along with being named best sophomore in the Schmidt Vocal Competition and earning his music letter at St. Louis Park High School.
One of the highlights of Leo’s career thus far was singing John Lennon’s “Imagine” at the Fraser Annual Benefit and Life Touch Annual Conference. He also takes great pride in the production of his own solo concert, “Leo in the Park,” a benefit for Fraser, an organization for children with special needs.
Leo is currently working on his first album, “Dream Alive,” expected to be released in late 2020.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I work with a student for the first time, it is all about getting to know them as a person. Who they are as people are of the utmost importance. Having lessons will catalyze on this. Throughtout my lessons with them, I will use constructive criticism and positive reinforcement to help guide them on their piano/singing journey.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently have been working as a voice/piano instructor at A Kopp Music for two years now.

First lesson is free, then $20 per half hour lesson.
