Matt Safley Music is a private music studio that offers piano/keyboard lessons, voice lessons, and composition study. Ages 5-adult will receive personalized curriculum which includes music theory, ear development, technique, sight reading, and more. These techniques are enhanced by a unique “musical masters” program that promotes holistic musical development for all ages.

Piano Performance graduate of Truman State University in Kirksville, MO.

Continues to perform solo and collaborative repertoire with other groups and musicians in the area.

Member of MTNA, MMTA, NAMFE, MMEA and SLAMTA.

I am a strong believer that everyone should be able to experience a love of music for life. That's one of my reasons for becoming a teacher! Whether you're a just a beginner or an advanced student needing guidance, I want to explore music together!

    Private piano, voice and composition lessons are separated by skill level. Preliminary interviews will determine the best curriculum path, approach, and lesson length to help the student achieve their goals. Teacher and student will work together during lessons. It's asked parent(s)/guardian(s) work to support students at home to be prepared for the following lesson.

    I have a degree in Piano Performance. I have also taken lessons in composition, voice, and trumpet. I collaborate frequently with vocalists and instrumentalists, in addition to playing for ensembles and events.
    30 minute lessons are $150 per month; 45 minutes are $210 per month; 60 minute lessons are $279 per month. I also offer drop in lessons geared towards busy adults and offer packages of 4, 8, 12, and 16 at 30, 45, and 60 minute lesson lengths. Inquire about pricing for those lessons
