What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always start with holding the instrument; first the bow, then the violin.
If needed I start the student on a music reading program.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a full professor at The University of Missouri with all of the requisite background for that position.

I charge $90 to $150 per lesson, but through UMKC Conservatory Academy it is around $65

Started as an instructor while in the Yale School of Music
