I love to help you enjoy music. I teach not only note reading and classical in piano, but ear training, music theory, chart reading and improvisation; also proper technique and style for voice. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Music Education, Vocal from the University of Missouri, Columbia where I was active in University Theater, Opera Production, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble. My post grad Certifications include Keyboard Theory and Early Childhood Specialty. I'm a professional pianist, choir and church accompanist, performer, and singer and have taught at Holy Trinity School, Donna's School of Performing Arts, and directed piano classes in the Yamaha Music Education System at The Toon Shop.

I love working one on one with my students and creating that perfect track of individual study and practice that will lead you to your goals in voice or piano. I love playing and performing myself. In the Kansas City area I sing and play piano, accordion, and penny whistle in numerous bands in the style of jazz standards, Renaissance Madrigal, classic rock, Americana, contemporary country, blues, soul, ballroom and Western Swing. Bands include The Buttercup Roadhouse, White Rose Band, All for Me Grog, Madrigalia Bar Nonne, Carolers of Note, Saddletramps, and Axle and the Equators
